I bow faithfully to my opponent, who bows playfully back...and we begin to duel. jabbing left, right, overhead. We're testing each other, looking for weakness, weighing the strength. But soon the preliminary dueling is over and we begin to sweat. There are sometimes falters, but mistakes are vital and neither of us can afford to make them. Nothing breaks the silence as we slice and dodge for hours. Tension hangs like dust in the air until it's five o'clock and time to go home. All the same it's getting fiercer and with each day it gets stronger and I get closer to finishing. But I will conquer this monster and then...I will victory-sleep.

Yearbook is driving me insane. Should anyone someday find this journal...I hope they burn it...well, virtually since this isn't on actual paper. And not onto a cd either. Because that would make only slightly more permanent.
I need to stop talking.
I need to do my homework
and I need to go to bed.
